TESDA Foreign Scholarship and Training Program Qualification

The foreign scholarship and training program requires qualifications before you can get in the said program. If you are interested to avail of any of the scholarship, you should first know the requirements as well as the qualifications. We have listed them below as taken from the official website at www.tesda.gov.ph.


The following are qualified to apply:

1. Officers and employees nominated by the Department Secretary / agency head / university president, president or chairperson of non–governmental organization / industry association or sectoral group or private enterprise. The nomination of officials and employees of local government units are endorsed to TESDA by the Department of Interior and Local Government - Local Government Academy.
2. Have rendered at least two years of service in the government at the time of nomination
3. Have obtained at least a very satisfactory performance rating for the last two consecutive periods immediately preceding the nomination
4. Have a college degree and/or sufficient demonstrated ability and experience related or relevant to the course applied for
5. Have no pending administrative and /or criminal case
6. Have no pending nomination for a scholarship in another program / course
7. Have already rendered the required service obligation for a previous scholarship enjoyed
8. Have met the requirements specified and set by the donor country / organization for the course in terms of position level, age, education, experience and other requirements
