TESDA on Training for Telecommunications Technicians

Not only the unskilled  but to keep in strengthen the skills of the experts.

Technical Education and Skills Develop Authority ( TESDA ) and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company ( PLDT ) joined together in forwarding the projects to train about 1,300 youth and workers to specialized their expertise.

These three years agreement that initiated by TESDA will aims to benefit and upgrade the capabilities of our existing technician.The trainings main goal is to qualified more workers in the services of telecommunication industry  like in PLDT company.

Tesda Director General Joel Villanueva quoted that  " Investments should not only be for infrustructures but in developing quality technicians which will help boost the economy and improve people's lives".

TESDA certifies 33 new carpenters, masons

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 33 carpentry and masonry graduates of the training program of the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation Inc. received their certificates of completion in Taguig City last week.


Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, who attended the graduation ceremony, expressed her joy upon seeing the carpentry and masonry graduates in the short program sponsored by Director Lino Cayetano, who is also chairman of Barangay Fort Bonifacio.

3,800 scholars in Cavite get assistance

MANILA, Philippines — Some 3,800 scholars from different state and private colleges and universities in upland and lowland districts of Cavite will soon get P5,000 cash assistance each from the provincial government, officials said Tuesday.
