TESDA Scholarship Requirements for Language Skills Institute (LSI) Training Program

Below are the criteria for the selection of Foreign Language Programs Scholars by TESDA. For those who are interested to enroll or apply for TESDA scholarship in their study for foreign language, please refer to the listed qualifications.


ENGLISH: (100 slots available)

• Must be job-ready:

LOCAL:

• Occupation: Call Center Agent
• Age Requirement: at least 18 years old
• Educational Attainment: High School graduate
• MUST have a score of 55-69 in the Prospeak assessment

ABROAD:

• Hong Kong, Singapore, North America
• Occupation: Caregiver, Household worker
• Age Requirement: at least 23 years old
• MUST be a Caregiver or Household Service Worker NCII holder

KOREAN:

• Age Requirement: not more than 37 years old
• At least high school graduate with at least 2 years work experience
• Must be registered with POEA ( must present POEA Registration Card)

SPANISH:

• Occupation: Caregiver, Household worker
• Age Requirement: at least 23 years old
• MUST be a Caregiver or Household Service Worker NCII holder

MANDARIN:

• Occupation: Factory worker, Caretaker
• Age Requirement: at least 23 years old
